A few words about brushing eyelash extensions

Leaving the house to work or for evening meeting? Quick look in the mirror to check, if your hairdo is OK. You grab the comb if necessary to make any disheveled hair look perfect and you are on the go. Stop. Definitely you forgot something. Apart from brushing your hairstyle you should do the same with your eyelash extensions!

While doing a make-up, washing or touching your face or simple sleeping with your head touching the pillow your lashes can move around and get tangled or overlapped. Individual lash hairs attach to each other and create visible gaps between them. There’s a simple fix for this: brush your lashes to improve their appearance and keep them clean.

You can perform your lash care routine in the morning.  To get your lashes back in place simply comb your eyelash extensions with a special lash or mascara wand for a 15 to 30 second. When combing be careful to avoid the attachment area between your natural lashes and the extensions. Gently and carefully comb through your lashes, so they don’t tangle or overlap. 

If you touch up your makeup frequently during the day, for example with a powder eyeshadow, don’t forget to carry your wand with you to check and refresh their lashes while you’re out.

Combing your eyelashes is very important, not only to keep them looking perfect, but also to keep them healthy due to removing any dirt or cosmetics residue. Without exaggeration a brushing is a very important part of your lash maintenance routine!
