If your clients complain about premature loss of their eyelash extensions or poor lash retention, surprisingly it may be caused by the use of hair conditioners. After application, these cosmetics may form a fine film on the surface of lashes that adversely affects the durability of glued eyelashes. So, how to handle such situations?
Fortunately, this problem can be easily remedied by proper and thorough cleansing of client’s natural lashes before application of false eyelashes. This will help to prepare the base for optimal bonding of eyelash adhesive. For lash cleansing you may use the appropriate products from the Glashland product offering. Remember: no matter how clean your client’s lashes look, do not skip the eyelash cleaning procedure as traces of hair conditioners or other popular women products, e.g. for skin care, cannot be seen with the naked eye. What’s more, give your clients the following useful tips to prolong the retention time of their eyelashes:
– When washing your hair try to tip your head up so that the hair conditioner cannot get into your eyes and lashes.
– Use the handheld shower head instead of a rain shower head to control the flow of rinsing water
And finally a small tip for lash artists – if your client’s eyelash extensions continue to fall out despite performing cleaning procedure, try to clean the lashes two times in a row during the next application. Good luck!
