Mega volume lashes means double and triple amount of lashes comparing to classic volume set. 

Generally For the so called medium volume, the stylist uses fans with two to six false lashes of 0.05 to 0.07 mm in diameter. To create mega volume fans you need to use 6 to 12 false lashes with diameters between 0.03 to 0.05 mm. This makes the much denser and darker final look.

How to choose length and weight for a mega volume set

Applying mega volume lashes doesn’t mean just attaching 12 lashes on a single natural lash. Even if you use an extension with 0.03 thickness! When choosing the right thickness of false lashes for your client, you must always consider their natural lashes and their thickness and length.

If natural eyelashes are thin and brittle, it is recommended to use extensions with a diameter of 0.15 mm (for classic lashes).

For clients with typical natural lashes, we recommend using the 0.20mm weight for classic method.

For clients with thicker natural eyelashes we recommend using the 0.25mm weight for classic method, which gives the look like a volume method.

How to choose the right length for a mega volume set

For a mega volume set, the general mapping technique works more or less the same. However, we advise you to avoid using lashes that are too long as this will create too heavy, exaggerated, sometimes even sad look caused by the eyelid drooping under the weight of the false lashes.

How to make a mega volume lash fan

1. Prepare a strip of 0.05 or 0.07 mm eyelash extensions.

2. Pick up the lashes right at the base of the strip. If you pick the lashes too far from the base may cause individual lashes to separate.

3. Put the lashes back on the tape.

4. Carefully wiggle the strip to create a symmetrical fan.

5. Dip the lashes into a drop of adhesive. 

6. Apply the fan.

How much adhesive to use for mega volume lash?
