The retention of applied eyelash extensions largely depend on the good quality of the lashing adhesive and the skills of your lash stylist. But that is not all for your lashes to last.
Learn about a few tricks to make your lash extensions last longer. The tricks we have for you relate mainly to a proper daily eyelash care.
1. Clean and Brush Them
Daily cleansing is a best way to prevent premature lash shedding. It is obvious your eyelashes get dirty and greasy, it’s just hair, same as on your head. So it needs care too. This is very important because oil dissolves and breaks the glue bonds which are holding the false eyelashes in place. Cleanse your lashes daily using a special eyelash foam cleanser. We recommend you to try our new formulated Glashland Bubble Lash Shampoo. It is extremely effective and gentle. This oil-free shampoo is a perfect product for daily use, which helps you not only to take care of your eyelashes but also to remove your make-up.
Gently use your fingertips to apply the shampoo or cleanser foam and spread over the lashes. Leave it on the skin for a while and then simply rinse it with water. When rinsing, do not rub your lashes back and forth, instead use plenty of water and then gently pat them dry with a towel.
Apart from your cleaning routine make sure you brush your lashes every morning with a clean mascara wand. Combing and fluffing the lashes that might got tangled or sideways while you slept is an important step to keep your appearance looking perfect. To get some Glashland eyelash extension brushes go to “Application Accessories” tab in the menu above.
2. Use coating eyelash sealant
Now, you’ve got some fabulous eyelash extensions, so to make that investment last we advise you to invest also in a eyelash extension sealant. This product simply seals your lashes and adds protection against moisture, dust, oils, and any skin care products that may break down the adhesive used to attach the extension to your natural lash. Moreover the lash sealants are enriched with vitamins and essential acids that nourish and strengthen your lashes to assist active hair growth. Applying a good quality eyelash sealant once or twice a week will greatly improve the longevity of your lashes.
3. One more life hack
Use a satin pillow when you sleep at night. Unlike other, harsher materials like cotton or wool, satin doesn’t cause friction, so it reduces the chance of eyelashes being torn out during sleep. Also it will be much easier to style your hair in the mornings if it tends to get frizzy. So to say, two benefits at a time!
